Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 38-24 Sheffield Eagles

The Eagles’ first run-out of 2012 ended in defeat as Mark Aston’s side slipped to a 38-24 loss at the hands of Super League outfit Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
It was a spirited performance from Sheffield and they were right in the game until two late tries sealed the deal for the youthful West Yorkshire side.
