A try in the final 30 seconds from Mitch Stringer and a touchline goal from Tim Bergin gave the Eagles a dramatic draw with Whitehaven.
It gives the Eagles five points from two Northern Rail Cup group games and keeps them in the top four in Pool 2 and on line for a place in the knockout stages.

Sheffield Eagles produced a late two-try burst to beat Whitehaven in an emotion charged game.

The ground was silent before the kick-off as Ros Purdham, the wife of former Haven player Garry Purdham, released 12 white doves in memory of her husband and the other 11 victims of the West Cumbria shootings.
